Cássia Dias T. Santos

Artist

Master in Geography – Environmental Analysis, from UFPR, Landscaping Technician – Garden Designer / CEPDAP – PR, started at the School of Fine Arts of Pernambuco, in the 70s.

She joined CIBP in 2013, and since then she has dedicated herself to Naturalist Illustration, offering in-person and online courses in the techniques: Watercolor and Colored Pencil.

She has participated in several free courses: Vincent Jeannerot and exhibitions at the Botanical Illustration Center of Paraná.

She has participated in exhibitions: V EBIC, Brazilian Meeting of Scientific Illustrators Work: Salvia splendens and Justicia brandegeanna in composition; WORLD EXHIBITION OF BOTANICAL ART – Native Plants of Brazil, in 2018, Works: – Eicchornia crassipes (in Watercolor) and Passiflora alata (in Colored Pencil); 1st solo exhibition at the 17th Brazilian Hemerocallis Festival in 2018, during the launch of new hybrid species, Joinville- SC.

Participates in the Brazil/Japan Exchange Program together with the IPE KENKYUUKAI Group, located in Kirishim-shi, Japan. Works exhibited in Japan: Handroanthus albus and Handroanthus chrysotricha.
