This Wednesday (9), the Federal Senate opens the exhibition “Brazil Aflora: The Art of Botanical Illustration”. The initiative, in partnership with the Botanical Illustration Center of Paraná, aims to value biodiversity and promote environmental awareness through art.
The Brazilian flora, which is vividly depicted in the landscape of the Curitiba Botanical Garden, now finds its artistic expression in the recently opened exhibition at the Galeria das Quatro Estações.
Curitiba and Praça das Pinhas are highlighted in the American newspaper The Botanical Artist.
The Paraná Botanical Illustration Center (CIBP) is launching the book "Historic Trees in the Landscape of Curitiba" this Monday (3). The publication is the result of three years of research and documentation of tree species protected by municipal law.
Inspired by the tradition of botanical art, the Botanical Illustration Center of Paraná launches the book "Botanical Art in Paraná".
Artists who dedicate themselves to botanical art will exhibit their work in the exhibition that opens next Thursday (11/08), at 7 pm, at the Memorial de Curitiba. The exhibition “Botanical Illustration: Brazilian plants”, which will be held in the Salão Paranaguá, brings together 77 works made in watercolor and colored pencil, which portray Brazilian flora.
