The Botanical Notebook is an activity offered by CIBP free of charge to the local community and visitors to the Curitiba Botanical Garden.
Our goal is to offer a practical experience of botanical drawing through direct observation.
Accompanied by CIBP artists, participants have the practical and fun opportunity to make botanical records of the model of their choice, making a brief study through observation, as well as practicing the adopted technique.
As we observe, we notice our perception sharpening for details and other elements of the model, which previously went unnoticed, and thus we enjoy the experience of being enchanted by the botanical universe and its diversity.
When choosing this activity, be prepared to sit outdoors and connect with nature while investigating a variety of botanical topics. This is what a botanical notebook is for, to be carried around like a research diary where the commitment is with you.
