Rosane Quintella
In memoriam

She graduated in Fine Arts from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná – EMBAP (1982) and in Biology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná – PUC (1992).
She developed scientific illustration work using watercolor techniques, but especially in Indian ink.
She took a course in Botanical Illustration at the Centro de Ilustração do Paraná – CIBP (2004) and later specialized, as a scholarship holder, in Botanical Illustration at the Margaret Mee Foundation at the Royal Botanic Gardens, in Kew, London, UK, under the guidance of Christabel King (2005).
In 2004, she became a member of the CIBP, participating annually in the CIBP calendar and exhibitions. At the CIBP, she became a professor of Botanical Illustration, and actively collaborated as coordinator and secretary for several years.
